Agreement to these Terms
Abidely is provided by the Abidely app team. By creating an account, using the app, joining a circle, using Abidely AI, or purchasing Abidely Premium, you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
If you do not agree, do not use Abidely.
Using Abidely
Abidely is a prayer, reflection, and prayer circle app. You are responsible for your account, your use of the service, and the content you submit. You agree to provide accurate account information, keep your sign-in credentials secure, and use Abidely only in ways allowed by law and these Terms.
Accounts and deletion
You may need an account to use many Abidely features. You can delete your account in the app. Account deletion may remove, delete, or anonymize account-related data, but some records may be retained where needed for subscription integrity, security, moderation, legal compliance, backups, or legitimate service operations.
Your content
You keep ownership of prayers, reflections, comments, images, circle content, and other content you submit to Abidely. By submitting content, you grant Abidely a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, store, process, display, transmit, moderate, and otherwise use that content only as needed to operate, secure, improve, and support the service.
For shared features, such as prayer circles, comments, reports, join requests, or testimony-style posts, your content may be visible to other users with access to that surface. Do not share content you are not allowed to share.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use Abidely to:
- Harass, threaten, exploit, or harm others.
- Post unlawful, hateful, abusive, sexually exploitative, violent, or otherwise harmful content.
- Impersonate others or misrepresent your identity.
- Upload malware or attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, scrape, overload, or bypass the service.
- Violate another person's privacy, intellectual property, or legal rights.
- Use Abidely AI, subscriptions, invite links, or device limits in abusive, automated, or fraudulent ways.
Prayer circles, moderation, and reports
Circle admins may manage circle participation and content according to app features. Abidely may review, hide, remove, restrict, or preserve content or accounts when needed to protect users, enforce these Terms, respond to reports, prevent abuse, or comply with law.
We may use automated and manual review methods. We do not guarantee that every harmful item will be detected or that every moderation decision will be error-free.
AI features
Abidely AI features may help generate prayer focus suggestions, find Bible verse references, or turn text into prayer. AI output is generated by software and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or unsuitable for your situation.
Abidely does not provide medical, legal, financial, mental health, emergency, or professional counseling services. If you are in danger, facing a crisis, or need professional help, contact local emergency services or a qualified professional. Do not rely on Abidely or Abidely AI as your only source of support.
We may limit, pause, refuse, or change AI features to protect safety, reduce abuse, control cost, or improve quality.
Abidely Premium subscriptions
Abidely Premium is offered through Apple's App Store in-app purchase system as an auto-renewable subscription. Available subscription lengths, prices, trials, and offers are shown in the app and may vary by region.
- Payment is charged to your Apple account when you confirm purchase.
- Your subscription automatically renews unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, subject to Apple's rules.
- You can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple account subscription settings.
- Refund requests are handled by Apple according to Apple's policies.
- Premium features are available while your subscription is active and may change over time.
- If billing, verification, restoration, or entitlement syncing fails, we may need time to refresh your status with Apple.
Abidely does not receive or store your full payment card information.
App Store terms
If you downloaded Abidely from Apple's App Store, your use of the app may also be subject to Apple's App Store terms and Apple's standard end user license agreement. Apple is not responsible for providing or supporting Abidely, but Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms where applicable.
Changes to Abidely
We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features, content, usage limits, Premium benefits, AI behavior, or parts of the service. We will try to avoid unnecessary disruption, but we do not guarantee that Abidely will always be available or error-free.
Termination
You may stop using Abidely at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if we believe you violated these Terms, created risk for others, abused the service, or used Abidely unlawfully. Some terms, including content licenses needed for past service operation, payment obligations, disclaimers, and liability limits, survive termination where needed.
Disclaimers
To the extent permitted by law, Abidely is provided "as is" and "as available." We do not guarantee that the service, AI outputs, verse suggestions, reminders, notifications, or community features will be accurate, uninterrupted, secure, or suitable for your needs.
Limitation of liability
To the extent permitted by law, the Abidely app team will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for loss of data, profits, goodwill, or service availability arising from your use of Abidely.
Nothing in these Terms limits rights that cannot be limited under applicable law.
Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms as Abidely changes. When we do, we will update the date above. If changes are significant, we may provide additional notice in the app or through another appropriate channel. Continued use of Abidely after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
